........Life sure has a funny way of changing, doesn't it. I know long blogs get tiring to read, so I am going to type the latest in segments. Read a couple, at a time, if you want. :) .......

1. Bought a new car on August 30th. 2001 Saturn Ls. It's nice.

2. Moved to University Of Wisconsin- River Falls on september 1st. My mom came down with me, dropped me off because she had to work in the afternoon. I was pretty much scared shitless because I didnt know anyone. (my friend angela goes here, but she was an orientation leader..busy all week)

3. Met my roomates. Esther and Ann and Megan. Ester and Ann are foreign exchange students from Taiwan. They are SO sweet, and kind. They make me dinner a lot. We each have our own bedrooms, and share a kitchen and living room. CABLE! I get to keep tabs on my TLC and Real World. ahha.

4. Fell for a boy named Kris. Fell pretty fast and pretty hard. He lives an hour and a half away and decided it wouldn't be fair to start a long distant relationship. We were up at his cabin for a weekend with his family, had an amazing time. Still trying to recover from that. My heart isnt broken, but it sure is bruised. :(

5. Went to church this morning, River Falls Assembly is about 5 feet from my suite. God is good. :)
Turns out Dr. Anderson is coming to preach..and this morning when I was there I saw and talked to a girl who goes to NCU. Crazy.

6. All in all, I am not comfortable being here yet, but I am glad I am where I am. I feel like I have more freedoms, more chances to become a better social worker, and more people to meet.

7. Trying to stay in shape and keep running. The campus here has intermural softball and volleyball, so I am going to do that. Also a lot of people rollerblade around campus and bike. There is a pool, and several work out rooms, so I dont have any excuses.

Going from Minneapolis to River Falls sure is a culture shock. But, no complaints. My new friends teased me because I asked if it was safe walking around at night. Durrr. Maybe we will get ....roped by a cowboy. Haha.
